The words we write are magic. The words we speak are even greater. This is the phrase that came to me early one morning while I was planning this illustration.

A badger warrior rests by an ancient stone with his reindeer companion. I imagine he’s writing about his latest adventures and what lessons he’s learned for his brood back home.
